We are thrilled to share that all our hubs in Spain and Bangladesh are officially ISO 9001:2015 certified. This certification is a globally recognized standard for quality management. The ISO 9001 recognizes organizations of all sizes and sectors the effort to improve their performance, meet customer expectations and their commitment to quality.
The ISO 9001 defines quality as the “degree to which a set of inherent characteristics [or distinguishing features] of an object”, which in turn is defined as anything perceivable or conceivable, such as a product, service, process, person, organization, system or resource, “fulfills requirements.” Let’s explore what it took for our hubs to qualify.
How does the ISO 9001 certification work?
By achieving the certification of ISO 9001 in all our hubs in Spain and Bangladesh, Recover™ demonstrates the effective implementation of a continuous improvement culture that ensures consistently meeting customer expectations.
Being adopted by over one million organizations across 189 countries, ISO 9001 stands as the foremost quality management standard globally. As a part of the ISO 9000 family, which delineates seven fundamental quality management principles such as prioritizing customer satisfaction and fostering continuous enhancement, ISO 9001 holds the distinction of being the sole standard eligible for certification.
As an ISO 9001 certified business, Recover™ can ensure:
- Customer confidence: The standard ensures that organizations have robust quality control processes in place, leading to increased customer trust and satisfaction.
- Effective complaint resolution: ISO 9001 offers guidelines for resolving customer complaints efficiently, contributing to timely and satisfactory problem-solving.
- Process improvement: The standard helps identify and eliminate inefficiencies, reduce waste, streamline operations, and promote informed decision-making, resulting in cost savings and better outcomes.
- Ongoing optimization: Regular audits and reviews encouraged by ISO 9001 enable organizations to continually refine their quality management systems, stay competitive, and achieve long-term success.
Recover’s achievement of the certification process was completed in March 2024 after following a rigorous external certification audits conducted by internationally recognized bodies in our manufacturing hubs and headquarter offices in Bangladesh and Spain.
How can businesses achieve ISO 9001 certification?
Certification according to ISO 9001 serves as a tangible demonstration to stakeholders and customers of your organization's dedication and capability to consistently provide top-notch products or services.
Companies embarking on ISO 9001 implementation have the flexibility to decide whether they want to pursue certification. Ensuring the efficacy of the system is a pivotal aspect of ISO 9001. The standard advocates for internal audits to evaluate the functionality of the quality management system. While organizations may opt to engage an independent certification body to validate conformity with the standard, there's no compulsory requirement for this step.
This flexibility makes certification a bit more accessible, so businesses can be held to high quality standards.
